Hello

Alright so i'm Seán and i don't know what to say about myself without sounding stupid but here goes. I'm Irish, strange, awkard, curious, affectionate, genuine, illegitimate and basically I'm a walking contradiction. I torment myself with many things that i have no control over but at the same time i don't actually care. I am the epitome of inconsistency but who cares. I love art in all forms. That sounds pretentious and maybe i am but i didn't say i understand art it just makes life more livable.

My dad says I'm anti-rules, my mum says I'm idealistic and once I took an Oprah quiz that said I was depressed.
I'm a short haired, fashion obsessed film-maker (Albeit a not very good one) from Cork, I thrive on family partys where my elderly cousins sing Irish songs about war,love, poverty and occasionally some Fionn Regan, they tell storys about being young and hand around black and white pictures of their childhood in the 1920's.
Music-wise I like folk, Indie, traditional, punk, pop, basically anything I can have a dance to, I play the drums, the guitar and I'm learning the Double-bass.

I don't think I can describe my personality without sounding idiotic and I already feel ego-tistical so I'll wrap up.

Well, here we are. The first proper posts. We were thinking, let's introduce ourselves as a first post, (it's polite and all, you know?) And you guys can get to know a bit what we're all about.

Now i've been thinking about this for a bit and it seems i'm shit in introducing myself. So, i figured i'd use other people's quotes and some random pictures. (Oh I'm 'Stoeps' by the way *shakes hand*)

Hello all!

This is the first post on here, how exciting! I kind of just decided that Saving The Smiths is what i wanted to go by (Yes, i decide everything :P) So, here we are. The Lovecats is done ;D

This blog will NOT be some kind of Smiths shrine. (Well it's not my intension, but who knows ^^) What it will be about is music. Lots of music. And some other things we care about. If things go according to plan, that is.

At the Lovecats blog i wanted to post this long introduction post saying how we came to this idea and all that, but right now i just cannot be bothered. You'll see. And i bet you don't even care. So, well, stick around (please. See, i asked friendly *big cheesy grin*)
