Introduction

Well hi there...

I'd been thinking about picking up on the blog sort of stuff before, but never really actually got far with it (See the ah-we're-going-to-beat-the-NME attempts below ;D). Now I've got no idea where this will lead, but I thought I might as well start with another introductionary post. Or at least another attempt.
So I'm "Stoeptegel", or "Stoeps" for online friends (and "Stoops" or "Stoopz" for very special ones ;D). Nice to meet you ^^ I still suck at such things so I thought I might as well paste a (heavily modified) questionnaire in here...

Nicknames: as said above ;)
Birthday: in April
Hair colour: Ginger at the moment
Pets: 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 rabbits (spread over my direct family)
Hobbies: I love music, listen to it a lot and love going to gigs, but sadly i cannot play any musical instrument. Futhermore I like to read and I do some crafting (knitting, crochet, cross stitch, embroidery). Lately I discovered the world of art journalling, which I'm quite into at the moment.
Likes: polkadots, stripes, patterns, fav colour is green at the moment, food haha
Dislikes: least favourite colours are pinks and browns. I also really dislike goat cheese and haricot verts (draadjes!)
Favourite accent: British!! Love Flemish as well
Favourite animal: bobcat
Favourite music: http://www.last.fm/user/Little_raisin (Can't seem to 'hide' the link in the words, any thoughts on how to do that?)
Favourite books: Jane Austen, Arthur Japin
Favourite ice cream flavour: mint choc chip ice cream!! can you believe they do not sell it here?
Favourite number: 15
Favourite TV shows: The Mighty Boosh, Black Books, The IT Crowd, Green Wing, Dr. Who, Sherlock Holmes (the Beeb one), De Llama's, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, ...

Three things I'd like to learn:
1. how not to make myself look like an idiot in conversations
2. how to write the perfect job interview letter, so I'll get an interview invitation
3. and how to nail the interview so that i'll actually get the job as well

Three places I want to go to:
1. I'ld love to go back to GB soon!
2. Scandinavia
3. Uh-Merica ;D www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRUAL6XI3GE

Well then, I'll leave you with this.
xx
Stoeps.

Fionn Regan Forum (FRF)

When i was googling that RTE radio session (see last post) i saw there was no Fionn forum (shock! Apparently there was one, but vanished...). And since i figured one was needed to collect all interviews, bootlegs and news, i made one together with Ruth. Feel free to sign up at:

http://fionnregan.xphpbb.com

We just got started, so it's just the 2 of us so far, so we need you! Besides that, there are 2 downloadable bootlegs at the forum for you. Plus a video of Be Good Or Be Gone (Live at Club3VOOR12) by request. But here's the catch: they're only available for registered users ;D
Hope to see you at the Fionn Regan Forum!

Long time no see

Well, it's been a while, sorry for that. I hope we'll be able to post more regularly from now on.

For now, i'll keep it short, got to go again in a bit ;D But still have enough time for some things to tell you...
I'ld like to begin with Goodbye She Wrote. Check www.myspace.com/goodbyeshewrote for some great music (also free download!!)

Second, i came across this: *click* Fionn at Pat the Plank (RTE1 Radio Session, 28/04/09), featuring new songs Protection Racket, House Detective and an interview about the upcoming album.

Thirdly some information about Adam's new album. The Apples&Engines EP will be released in July and 500 copies will be available. One of the songs that's going to be on there is Cola (or Coke) Boy. People who subscribed to the mailinglist at http://www.roseskingscastles.com/ will get all new information as soon as possible. (And we might be able to see him wearing Vic's sweater soonish?? Fingers crossed here haha)
